The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 6, at the intersection of Staszica and Bohaterów Getta streets. A fire truck traveling toward the PKP railway station collided with a Hyundai passenger car. The impact was so strong that the airbags deployed in the car. Two injured people—the Stara driver and the Hyundai driver—were taken to hospital.
Firefighters from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec were on their way to a fatal accident between Łaziska and Warta Bolesławiecka.
