The duty officer at the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec received a report about a drunk man who wanted to drive a car in that condition. When traffic police officers arrived at the scene, it turned out that two young women from Nowogrodziec municipality had prevented the 63-year-old from driving by taking his keys.
The officers established that the two 20-year-olds had seen a resident of Bolesławiec municipality drinking beer behind the wheel and wanting to drive away from in front of a shop. The women drew his attention to it. The driver did not react, so they took his keys and notified the police.
The 63-year-old from Bolesławiec municipality was completely drunk; he had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath. He now faces up to two years in prison.
