Police officers from Karpacz received a report about a missing 72-year-old tourist from Israel who had become separated from his tour group in the car park by the Wang Church. Given the missing man’s age and health condition, his wife immediately asked the police for help. She provided a description and handed over a photograph of her husband.
In addition to police officers, GOPR rescuers and a Forest Guard patrol took part in the search operation. The officers received information that the man was most likely returning from the Bronka Czecha clearing with other tourists. The officers went onto the trail, where they met the 72-year-old. (They then assisted him on the way down.)
An ambulance was also called because the tourist was tired and weak. After being examined, the man was taken to the tour coach.
