During the ceremony, 72 police officers from the Lubin County Police Headquarters were promoted to higher police ranks:

  • in the officers’ corps – 3 police officers, including the deputy county police commander in Lubin, Commissioner Andrzej Barna, to the rank of superintendent
  • in the aspirants’ corps – 33 police officers
  • in the non-commissioned officers’ corps – 29 police officers
  • 7 officers in the privates’ corps.

The officers and civilian employees of this unit were also honoured with medals, decorations and commendation certificates from the county police commander in Lubin, as well as awards from local-government authorities. The President of the Republic of Poland, at the request of the Minister of the Interior and Administration, decorated:

  • Inspector Tomasz Gołaski, county police commander in Lubin – with the Bronze Cross of Merit
  • Stanisława Opalińska – with the Gold Medal for Long Service
  • Senior Aspirant Jan Pociecha – with the Silver Medal for Long Service.

Moreover, the minister honoured:

  • Deputy Inspector Justyna Kowalczyk – with the Silver Distinguished Police Officer Badge
  • Deputy Inspector Tomasz Pawłowski – with the Silver Distinguished Police Officer Badge
  • Superintendent Tomasz Marcinkowski – with the Bronze Distinguished Police Officer Badge
  • Senior Aspirant Rafał Kozdrowski – with the Bronze Distinguished Police Officer Badge
  • Aspirant Mariusz Wulkiewicz – with the Bronze Distinguished Police Officer Badge
  • Staff Sergeant Łukasz Majka – with the Bronze Distinguished Police Officer Badge.
