Police officers from the traffic division spotted a Suzuki motorcycle on Pątnowska Street in Legnica. It was being ridden without a registration plate and without its dipped headlights on. The 26-year-old was stopped for inspection.

The officers noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from him. Indeed, the man was riding under the influence; he had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his breath. What is more, as he was behaving strangely, he was also tested with a drug analyser. The officers’ suspicions were confirmed once again: the 26-year-old was under the influence of an intoxicating substance from the amphetamine group.

To make matters worse, the police established that the motorcyclist did not have a driving licence. The man also had no documents with him, and the vehicle he was riding was technically defective. (It is worth adding that the passenger travelling with the 26-year-old was also drunk. He “blew” more than 2 per mille).

The driver now faces up to two years in prison.
