The first hypermarket to operate on a 24/7 basis was Tesco. For several months now, Tesco has been open only until midnight. The British hypermarket chain is closing nine stores in Poland. It is possible that the French are taking advantage of this and, by a “Napoleonic decree,” increasing Carrefour’s availability to customers. Do we need a 24-hour hypermarket in Bolesławiec?
