The incident took place on 1 August. The duty officer at the Lubin police station was notified of a beating that had occurred in the city. A patrol from the prevention department went to the scene and detained two suspects.

According to the officers' findings, two men from Lubin, aged 32 and 34, accosted three foreigners in one of the residential estates. They demanded money from them—between PLN 50 and PLN 500. When the foreigners refused, the Polish men began punching and kicking them. (Fortunately, the victims did not suffer serious injuries.)

Moreover, it emerged that both aggressors had repeatedly clashed with the law. They now face up to 10 years in prison.
