Police officers detained a 20-year-old resident of Szklarska Poręba suspected of burglary. In July, the man broke into a passenger car parked in Jelenia Góra. He stole a wallet, documents and a bank card from the vehicle. He used the latter 15 times, making contactless payments for purchases, mainly alcohol and cigarettes. The victim estimated the losses at more than PLN 500.
The detained 20-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
