The Bolesławiec–Lwówek Śląski road is undergoing renovation. Several reports concerning detours have appeared in the local media. According to our arrangements with the contractor carrying out the reconstruction of road 297 Bolesławiec–Lwówek, the schedule will be as follows:

Stage 2

  • is scheduled to be introduced on Monday, July 31. The section from Suszki Dolne to Brunów will be closed to general traffic. The section Włodzice Wielkie–Żerkowice will be completely closed. Only local traffic will be permitted from Żerkowice to Brunów—for residents, emergency services and PKS.

    After approximately three months, the section Żerkowice–Brunów will be completely closed. The entire second stage of the project is scheduled to be completed in December this year (only then will the bridges in Brunów be closed).

Stage 4

  • will be introduced on Friday, July 28, in Lwówek Śląski (along a section of approximately 950 m—from the two petrol stations at the exit from Lwówek to the intersection of Przyjaciół Żołnierza Street and Wojska Polskiego Avenue). Traffic on this section will be one-way. It will be possible to leave Lwówek in the direction of Rakowice Wielkie and Brunów. The return journey will only be possible via Rakowice Wielkie and Radłówka (for vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight below 3.5 tonnes).
