We wrote about the problems faced by residents of one of the villages in Bolesławiec gmina in the article Residents of Suszki Górne almost cut off from the outside world. The cause of the problems? The renovation of the Bolesławiec–Lwówek Śląski road.
However, as Bolesławiec County starost Karol Stasik, who discussed the matter with the head of the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service, announces, there will be improvements on this road. Sections where renovation has been completed will be opened successively. A 3-kilometre section between the so-called forester's lodge and Nowe Jaroszowice is already passable. Despite the ban, drivers are using it, saving time and money.
