Police officers identified and arrested two residents of Jelenia Góra, aged 31 and 29. Both are suspected of stealing an air conditioner worth approximately PLN 3,000. The crime took place in one of the shops in Jelenia Góra. Thanks to surveillance footage, the thieves were caught by the officers within several hours of the theft.

What is more, the older of the two admitted to other thefts and burglaries:

  • in June, he stole a drainpipe worth approximately PLN 2,000
  • in July, a fence mesh worth PLN 1,200 fell prey to him
  • several days later, he stole radiators worth approximately PLN 700.

Both suspects may face up to 10 years in prison.
