On Sunday afternoon, at around 4 p.m., the duty officer at the Lubin County Police Headquarters received information that a car was parked in the parking lot of one of the hypermarkets, in full sunlight, and that a small dog was inside, whining loudly and licking the window.

Officers from the prevention department went to the scene. The police found the car, which indeed contained a small dog licking the window and whining loudly. The vehicle's owner was nowhere nearby, and the outside temperature was approaching 30 degrees Celsius.

Witnesses said that the dog had already been in the car for about an hour. A police officer decided to break the window.

When the officer got inside, the dog immediately jumped into his arms. It then immediately began drinking water provided by the police officers. A veterinarian was called to the scene and took the dog to a veterinary clinic.

The animal's owner appeared only after 20 minutes. She explained that she had gone shopping and forgotten about her pet locked in the car. She could now face up to two years in prison.
