On 19 and 20 November, meetings were held by three committees of the City Council: Infrastructure, Spatial Planning and Construction; Education, Culture and Sport; and Health, Family and Social Affairs. The main topic of the proceedings was the draft resolution on new water and sewage tariffs proposed by the Water and Sewage Company.
PWiK proposes increasing the price of supplied water by PLN 0.44/m³ (19%), while the sewage charge would rise by as much as 53% (PLN 1.75/m³).
So far, no committee has approved the new tariffs. City councillors will decide whether the new water and sewage prices will take effect at the next City Council session, which will be held on 26 November.
