Workshop organisers:
Sorcerer’s apprentices are everywhere, from Goethe to Harry Potter. It is an ambiguous concept that allows for different interpretations and gives room to dream. We will focus on issues that are relevant today. In an age of advancing digitalisation, the question arises: where is technological progress leading us, and might it one day turn against us? Do we really need as much as we have? At what cost is our prosperity created?
Together, we will seek answers to these and other questions. We will season it all with a touch of magic and… present it on stage! The participants of Lanterna Summer Special will jointly create a music and theatre performance with which they will embark on a tour.
The participation fee is €250, but in exceptional circumstances, financial issues should not be an obstacle to taking part in the workshops. Discounts are available! Participants arrive on Sunday, 2 July, by 12:00 noon; departure is on Sunday, 16 July, from 4:00 p.m.
