The driver of a green Vectra failed to stop for a traffic check on 19 June. While fleeing, he broke all traffic regulations and posed a real threat to other drivers, who had to pull onto the verges. (The reckless driver began his spree on Bohaterów II Armii WP Street in Zgorzelec, then continued along Batorego, Armii Krajowej, Karłowicza, Poniatowskiego, Lubańska, ks. Kozaka, Poluszyńskiego and Bolesławiecka streets; he was stopped on the last of these.)
