On Thursday, 15 June, an unexploded ordnance item was found near the A4 motorway, level with Dobra (Bolesławiec municipality). Today, sappers determined that there are significantly more projectiles there—62 to be exact. (These are 8.8 cm artillery shells.)
An operation by the Demining Patrol of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment is underway. The A4 motorway between Łąka and Godzieszów is closed. Traffic is being diverted through Bolesławiec. As a result, the bypass in Bolesławiec is congested.

The motorway is now open. Although the sappers’ operation is still ongoing, the soldiers decided there was no need to close the A4 again.
