Police officers placed the main roads in our county under particular scrutiny. The officers’ work was supported by radar speed meters, video recorders and breathalysers.
Officers checked 71 vehicles and fined 43 drivers who exceeded the speed limit. Three drivers who exceeded it by at least 51 km/h in a built-up area lost their driving licences.
In addition, in Łagów the officers detained a 21-year-old man who was driving under the influence of alcohol. The 21-year-old had nearly 1 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
Officers also caught a 30-year-old Renault driver who is subject to a court ban on driving any motor vehicles.
