From June 14 to 19, Lubin police officers will conduct intensified checks aimed at:

  • ensuring smooth traffic flow on the roads
  • removing from traffic drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • ensuring that drivers comply with speed limits.

“However, the most important objective of these operations will be to ensure the safety of everyone travelling on the roads of our county. So that all people reach their destinations: their place of rest, and then their homes,” say Lubin uniformed officers.

Road-policing patrols will appear in the most dangerous locations. Police officers will serve in marked and unmarked vehicles equipped with video recorders, radar devices and breathalyzers.

The police appeal to drivers to use common sense and exercise caution while travelling.
