Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury is organizing the Community Review of Seniors’ Creative Work, during which artists including Janina Kowalonek-Hyplak, Zbigniew Kaźmierski, Władysław Leszczyński, Lesław Kasprzycki, Paweł Śliwko, Barbara Delimat, Wanda Macur, Józef Herbut, Krystyna Raszka, Stanisław Graczyk, Stefania Marcinów-Szwabowicz, Jan Bancewicz, Maria Paszkiewicz, Stanisława Jarmakowicz and Barbara Pankowska will present their work.

As Ewa Zbroja, director of Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury, wrote on the institution’s website, “our idea is to show the various layers of sensitivity and artistic activity of so-called people of the third age. People who, having lived in Bolesławiec for years, worked professionally and devoted themselves to others, preserved their own identity. They retained what is most important in a person: sensitivity to the world around us, its form and beauty. They dared to undertake the difficult art of creative travel—expressing themselves through distinctive means of expression: poetry, music and painting.”

The exhibition opening will take place on November 17 in the foyer of Forum cinema. It begins at 6:00 p.m.
