On Tuesday (6 June), at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street, the teams of the Polish Army Team and BKS Friends, who were staying at a training camp in Bolesławiec, faced each other in a friendly match. The game was played in pouring rain. Around the 30th minute, the soldiers took the lead after a BKS player scored an own goal. Following a shot by one of the team players, the ball hit the post and then Maciej Zielonka’s leg before going into the net.
The team players doubled their lead in the second half. Rafał Samborski tussled with BKS defender Sławomir Dul in the penalty area, and the latter unfortunately sent the ball into his own goal. No more goals were scored in the match. However, next Sunday (11 June), in the A-class competition, BKS’s senior team will host Leśnik Osiecznica. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
