The incident occurred overnight from June 4 to 5. Police officers from Pieńsk stopped the driver of a Volkswagen for a roadside check. The 40-year-old man was behaving very nervously, so he was tested with a drug tester. As it turned out, the resident of Zgorzelec was driving under the influence of methamphetamine.
The Volkswagen driver lost his driving licence. He now faces up to two years in prison and a driving ban.
