On Thursday, June 1, police officers from Pieńsk stopped a 30-year-old resident of the town, who was driving an Opel, for a roadside check. The driver was sober. He had the required documents. Nevertheless, during the check, the man was visibly nervous and agitated. The officers began to suspect that he had been driving under the influence of narcotic substances.

The 30-year-old was tested with a drug tester, which showed the presence of methamphetamine in the driver's system.

The resident of Pieńsk was detained. He now faces up to two years in prison and a driving ban.
