For years, including on our forum, you have complained about county roads in Bolesławiec. It looks as though some of them will be renovated, in cooperation with the Bolesławiec Urban Commune. At the next City Council meeting, council members will adopt—or not, which is rather unlikely, given that members of Roman’s Forum, even after the expulsion from the club of Dariusz Mucha, hold a majority in this body—four resolutions “on providing financial assistance to Bolesławiec County.”

What do the aforementioned draft resolutions concern?

  • reconstruction of Polna Street—the City has nearly PLN 253,000 secured for this purpose
  • reconstruction of Sadowa Street—the City: over PLN 158,000
  • reconstruction of Ogrodowa Street—the City: nearly PLN 194,000
  • reconstruction of the right-hand sidewalk along Komuny Paryskiej Street—the City: over PLN 95,000.

It appears that since a new coalition has been governing the County, including people associated with Piotr Roman, there has been a chance to resolve at least some of the problems with which local-government officials have struggled for years. Perhaps it will even be possible to renovate two other county roads in the city, which residents have complained about for years: Dolne Młyny Street and Mostowa Street.
