A resident of the county road Dolne Młyny Street asked us to publicize the issue mieszkanka powiatowej ulicy Dolne Młyny. The woman wants speed bumps to be installed on this road. “There is a school and a kindergarten here, and several people have already been hit near the bus stop,” she argues.

County Executive Karol Stasik announced at Thursday’s meeting of the Bolesławiec County Council that there will be no speed bumps on Dolne Młyny Street because buses run along this road, and the use of this solution is prohibited on such roads (under a regulation issued by the Minister of Infrastructure).

In a conversation with the istotne.pl website, the County Executive emphasized that “such impediments” cannot be used and that speed bumps damage bus bearings. “Drivers must obey the speed limits,” added the head of the County Executive Board.
