Police officers detained a 34-year-old man from Jelenia Góra suspected of burglary. The detainee used a stolen bank card several times. He made contactless payments with it for purchases, mainly alcohol and cigarettes. The card owner estimated the losses at more than PLN 1,000. (The victim was robbed after falling asleep on a park bench at night.)
The 34-year-old suspect admitted his guilt. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
