The organization was founded in 1948 in response to the conflicts sparked by World War II. Its aim is to help young people make use of their potential and learn about and understand different cultures. As a result of the organization’s activities, young leaders are developing the ability to face the challenges of the modern world wisely.

In Bolesławiec, Liwen Lai and Yuting Fan from Singapore, as well as Ka Ki Ku from Hong Kong, lead cultural workshops during which students have the opportunity to learn basic phrases in Chinese and discover many interesting facts about Chinese culture: learn about the tea-brewing ritual and the secrets of Chinese cuisine, try their hand at martial arts, or improve their ability to create miniature works of art through origami, while also developing their communication skills in English.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, the middle school students showed their guests the most interesting places in our Bolesławiec.
