The 47th International Pentel Art Competition received 13,191 works by children from around the world, including 1,125 from Poland. A total of 149 works were awarded. Co-organizers of the Pentel company’s competition include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. According to the organizers, the competition is an excellent opportunity to connect with other young artists through art and take part in a great exchange of ideas. The subject matter and technique are unrestricted, allowing everyone to give free rein to their imagination.
This is not the end of the achievements of Stanisława Wojdy-Pytlińska’s students. Works by Jagoda Marczewska, Julia Kędzierska, Hubert Godek, Ilona Głowacz, Karolina Guzowska and Hanna Jarczyńska were selected for the post-competition exhibition of the 14th National Spring of Young Talents Presentations 2017, titled “My World Here and Now,” organized by the Hajnówka Cultural Center. The competition received 717 works, of which 164 were selected for the exhibition. The exhibition is open from May 26 to June 30 at the Hajnówka Cultural Center.
