A 28-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality, driving an Opel, failed to give way to a Fiat carrying a married couple from Warta Bolesławiecka (a 75-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman). Both women were injured in the collision. The 28-year-old, who is pregnant, was transported by a Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter to Legnica. The 71-year-old was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
