The incident occurred on 13 May. The duty officer at the Legnica police headquarters received a report of clothing being stolen from one of the shopping centres. The perpetrator was recorded by surveillance cameras. The losses were estimated at PLN 700.
Police quickly established the thief’s identity. The district officer recognised the fan of other people’s property. The 19-year-old man was arrested. The resident of Świdnica County was taken to police custody.
Officers recovered the stolen property. The teenager faces up to five years in prison.
