In April, unknown perpetrators broke into one of the mechanical workshops in Bolesławiec County. The thieves took practically everything the owner needed to run his business.
The case was difficult. Police analyzed every piece of information and searched for clues that could lead them to the perpetrators.
A breakthrough came a few days ago, when officers from the Bolesławiec unit detained a 41-year-old VW driver, a resident of Legnica County, who was transporting some of the equipment originating from the crime. The value of the recovered property was estimated at approximately PLN 30,000.
The 41-year-old suspect was charged with handling stolen goods. He faces up to five years in prison. The case is developing, and further arrests are likely.
