The opening will be enhanced by a performance by students from the State Music School in Bolesławiec. The exhibition will be open until 11 June 2017.

Among Claudia Rückert’s works, one can discern an extensive study of the history of ceramic craftsmanship. The works primarily comprise hand-thrown vessels for everyday use. She also creates unique ceramics intended for special purposes, unusual candleholders, storage jars and garden sculptures. She uses traditional decorative techniques to decorate the vessels. Most of her works are fired in an electric kiln at a temperature of 1,140°C. The artist has worked on numerous artistic projects and conducted many ceramics workshops for adults and children, including at Peter Apian Gymnasium in Leisnig. She is a well-known and highly regarded artist in the German state of Saxony.
