– “For years, senior communities had been calling for a place providing round-the-clock care for older people. Responding to these expectations, we decided at the time to build a home where people in need of care could spend the final years of their lives with dignity,” recalls the origins of the Residential Care Home, Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. On behalf of all the residents, the wishes and a symbolic bouquet of flowers were received by Helena Sternal – the first resident of the Residential Care Home.
The anniversary ceremony was an opportunity to thank and present commemorative gifts to employees who have worked at the Residential Care Home since it began operating. The following received acknowledgements: Grażyna Orłowska, Barbara Urban, Małgorzata Lehmann, Barbara Tur, Monika Paszko, Krystyna Emilian, Magdalena Nowak, Joanna Jopek, Katarzyna Woźniak-Pogoda, Anna Sekuła, Aleksandra Russ, Irena Focht, Beata Gutowska, Justyna Jaźwiec and the Residential Care Home director, Bogusław Szeffs.
