The arrests took place on April 26. Police officers who were intervening in an unrelated case at one of the apartments in Jelenia Góra noticed a distinct smell of marijuana in the stairwell. It turned out to be coming from a neighboring apartment, where three men, aged 21, 22 and 32, were staying. The trio were in the process of smoking marijuana.
The young suspects had nearly 550 doses of methamphetamine and marijuana in their possession. The street value of the drugs was approximately PLN 16,000. (Moreover, one of those arrested had previously been convicted of similar offences.)
All three were taken into police custody. The suspects could face up to 10 years in prison.
