The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 25. Drivers called the Lubin police duty officer, reporting a man driving along Kościuszki Street. According to the callers, he was driving as though he were drunk. A police officer immediately dispatched a patrol to the scene.
The car’s driver was stopped for inspection. The man was slurring his speech and had trouble maintaining his balance. As it turned out, he was completely drunk. He had more than 4 parts per thousand of alcohol in his system.
The 50-year-old resident of Lubin lost his driving licence and could face up to two years in prison.
