April 16 is the Day of the Engineer Troops – Sappers’ Day. On this occasion, during the morning assembly, the commander of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade, Colonel Doctor of Military Sciences Dariusz Parylak, honored soldiers of the Świętoszów sapper company and the training division. Meritorious soldiers received commendation awards, letters of congratulations and material awards.

The brigade commander emphasized the enormous role played by the engineer troops in carrying out the tasks of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade: “Engineering subunits perform tasks not only during combat training, but also in all kinds of crisis situations. For this very reason, it should be emphasized how much effort they put into carrying out their tasks. On the occasion of the Day of the Engineer Troops, I extend my heartfelt thanks to you for your commitment during your often difficult service. At the same time, I wish you further successes and satisfaction from your service.”

Best wishes from the commander of the 11th Lubusz Armored Cavalry Division, Brigadier General Stanisław Czosnek, were also read out:

Your dedication to service and commitment to shaping the proper image of our Division deserve recognition. Your training efforts and devotion in carrying out your tasks have earned the highest respect of your superiors and society. […]

I thank all soldiers and employees of the Engineer Troops for their devoted service and exemplary fulfillment of their difficult daily duties. I express my appreciation to you. I wish you many further successes in this demanding and honorable service, the fulfillment of your dreams and plans for the future, and every happiness in your personal lives.
