The first arrest took place on 21 April at around 11:30 p.m. Traffic police officers stopped the driver of a Peugeot for a roadside check. The driver immediately stated that he did not have a driving licence. The 35-year-old resident of Legnica got behind the wheel even though his driving privileges had been revoked
Another irresponsible driver was caught by traffic police on 22 April at around 5:00 p.m. The 24-year-old man was driving a Seat. During the check, he behaved nervously, so the officers tested him with a drug tester. It turned out that the 24-year-old was driving under the influence of drugs. He was taken to hospital, where blood was drawn for further tests.
Both drivers will answer for their actions before the court. Both face up to two years in prison.
