The incident took place on Wednesday, April 19. At around 2:30 p.m., a municipal monitoring operator noticed a group of young people behaving unusually at the skatepark. They were trying to find out whether they were strong enough to knock over a skateboard ramp. They succeeded, and then tried to do the same with another ramp.
The operator notified the municipal police duty officer, who sent a patrol there. Meanwhile, the young vandals left the scene, unaware that they were being watched the entire time.
A few minutes later, the “jokers” were apprehended. The silly prank cost them PLN 500. What is more, they were required to repair the damage, which they did immediately.
