During the Easter holidays, police officers checked nearly 236 vehicles. A total of 155 drivers were fined, almost one-third of them for significantly exceeding the speed limit.
In the county, 19 collisions and one road accident were recorded, in which one person was injured. Moreover, officers caught four drivers under the influence: three of alcohol and one of drugs.
As many as six drivers lost their driving licences. Due to the poor technical condition of their vehicles, 20 registration certificates were also confiscated.
