In recent days, officers have been working on a case involving burglaries of basements that took place between late March and early April. They identified a 29-year-old man from Bolesławiec County, whom they knew well, as the perpetrator of these crimes.
Moreover, a woman reported to the Bolesławiec police station and told officers that a man had robbed her basement. The thief took, among other things, electrical equipment. The victim managed to get a good look at him and then described his appearance in detail. This information only confirmed the officers’ suspicions. The 29-year-old was arrested, taken to a police cell and charged with four offenses.
The officers recovered some of the stolen property. The detained man will answer for his actions before the court. The suspect had previously been convicted of similar crimes. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
