The incident occurred on April 13 in Zgorzelec County. The police duty officer received information that a woman was attempting to take her own life.
Officers from Pieńsk went to the scene. The officers entered the attic and cut down the hanging woman. She did not respond to external stimuli, and there was also no sign of breathing. The police began resuscitation. After a while, the victim began breathing again.
The woman was taken to hospital for observation. Thanks to the officers’ swift action, a human life was saved.
