The incident took place on Thursday, April 13, on the A4 motorway (near Kraśnik Dolny), in the morning. The driver of a passenger car crashed into a truck. One person has died.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:20 a.m. at the exit to the MOP (a motorway service area) in Kraśnik Dolny. Three vehicles collided. The Mitsubishi passenger car probably first struck a Mercedes and then crashed into the rear of a trailer attached to a Volvo truck.
As reported on the website of the Komendy Powiatowej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Bolesławcu, firefighters “immediately provided medical assistance to one person and handed them over to the emergency medical team. Unfortunately, the person driving the Mitsubishi died at the scene.”
The response operation lasted nearly five hours. It is also known that the Mitsubishi driver was a Wielkopolska resident aged approximately 30. The car’s passenger was taken to hospital. The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the causes of the tragedy.
