At the end of February, we reported that trees had been cut down at the PKS bus station. And it appears that construction of the shopping gallery has indeed got fully under way. As Piotr Koza from parowa.info.pl writes:
After more than three decades, the PKS bus station in Bolesławiec is ceasing operations. What was once considered modern no longer meets current architectural and functional standards, and part of the plot had also lain unused. [...] It appears, however, that the investor does not intend to wait and is moving ahead rapidly. In accordance with the plan—specifically, on 3 April—a construction crew arrived and began dismantling elements of the site and tearing up the asphalt.
He adds: “According to the assumptions, by the end of 2017 a shopping gallery with a bus-station function will be built here.”
