Police officers from the Zgorzelec traffic unit, supported by officers of the Road Transport Inspection, inspected 165 vehicles during the “Spring” operation. They primarily checked lorries, buses and minibuses.
The result? As many as 60 registration certificates were seized due to the vehicles’ technical condition, and 124 offences were identified. In addition, three drivers subject to court-ordered driving bans were apprehended by officers from Zgorzelec. The latter may face up to three years in prison.
