As Nieprawdopodobny News has learned, Bolesławiec City Council deputy chair Eugeniusz Kowalski, by interrupting the body’s Wednesday session, disrupted the space-time continuum, and the councillors found themselves in a loop. Admittedly, the session resumed on Friday went smoothly, but if the voivode decides that it was illegal, the chair will have to urgently convene another one.
And even then, there is no certainty that they will manage to close it. Dariusz Mucha has announced that on every occasion he will leave the chamber with opposition councillors. Why? To break the quorum. “Sometimes anarchy is needed so that order can prevail,” the informal leader of the anti-Roman faction in the City Council told Nieprawdopodobny News. “If I were a member of the Sejm, I would even break up a session in the Column Hall.”
It therefore appears that the councillors will be forced to repeat one and the same session many times. Fortunately, there is a chance that, just as in the cult classic “Groundhog Day,” eventually everyone will vote as they should and they will be able to return to normal life.
But every cloud has a silver lining, because, as Jacek Rozpędowski of PiS, known for his fondness for Latin sayings, adds: “Repetitio est mater studiorum” (repetition is the mother of learning).
