Officers from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra detained a 29-year-old man suspected of burglary. The crime took place in mid-March. Taking advantage of the owners’ absence, the man broke into their house. He stole property worth nearly PLN 9,000. The stolen items included three bicycles, a car navigation system and tennis rackets.
The suspect was detained and placed in police custody. It is possible that he has committed more crimes of this kind.
At the investigators’ request, the court remanded the 29-year-old in custody for two months. The man faces up to 10 years in prison.
