County Governor Karol Stasik announced during a press conference attended by Lower Silesian Marshal Cezary Przybylski that Skanska, the contractor for Bolesławiec’s south-eastern bypass, will soon begin work on road 297 near the forester’s lodge by constructing a roundabout.
As a result, the detour through Stare Jaroszowice and Żeliszów will soon be closed. Road workers are arranging another route—via road 363: Kosiby Street in Bolesławiec–Iwiny–Raciborowice. “The travel time will be even longer there,” K. Stasik concluded. Marshal Przybylski added: “It is impossible to build a road in the air.”
