The incident occurred before 3:00 p.m. on Kosiby Street in Bolesławiec. According to preliminary information, an armchair caught fire in one of the apartments.
Two people suffered smoke inhalation. The man managed to get out on his own; firefighters evacuated the woman. Both injured people are conscious.
All emergency services are at the scene.
