The bridge in Świętoszów (Osiecznica municipality) is closed, but somehow people still have to get to work. This can be done via the official but long detour (from the Luboszów interchange toward Iłowa, Żagań and farther on to Rudawica and Świętoszów) or via the “wild crossing” through Łozy (which is also several kilometres). Another option is to… leave the car in front of the bridge and continue on foot. That is exactly what a soldier from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade did on Wednesday, March 8.
While the serviceman was at work, thieves appeared and stole all the wheels from his car. Below is a video by Stefańczyk Studio:
“I left my car at seven in the morning. Now I am waiting for someone to come and bring the wheels. I have no idea how they did it. They must have acted quickly,” the affected soldier says.
The police are searching for the perpetrators. Let us recall that theft is punishable by up to five years in prison.
