At the beginning of March, a container with gas cylinders was broken into in Gromadka Municipality. The suspects, residents of the municipality, aged approximately 23 and 26, were arrested the following day. One of the perpetrators also had a gas revolver with ammunition, for which he did not have a permit. The weapon was seized.
What is more, it emerged that this was not the duo's only offense. The burglars confessed to approximately seven such crimes. These included the theft of batteries and metal fencing elements, as well as break-ins at other containers with gas cylinders.
Both suspects now face up to 10 years in prison.
