The incident occurred on March 4, after 2 p.m., at one of the stores in Jelenia Góra. A security guard apprehended a man who had stolen food products and dietary supplements. The apprehended man, a 28-year-old with no permanent address, smelled of alcohol. The suspect was aggressive and threatened the security guard.
The aggressor was detained by police officers from Jelenia Góra. While he was being transported to the police station, he offered the officers a PLN 3,000 bribe, which he allegedly had at his apartment. When they refused, he began insulting and threatening them.
The 28-year-old will now answer for his actions before the court. The man could spend up to eight years behind bars.
